The Polaris Music Prize revealed the first round of performers on the Gala 2019 on September 16 and…Shad will be performing. This follows A Short Story About A War making the Polaris Music Prize Short List, a list of the top 10 Canadian albums as chosen by a jury based solely on meritand. This means, his latest opus is in the run to be the Polaris Music Prize 2019-winning album.
